No need to replace this seal every time your cap is removed.

Measures 1" width x 1.125" height, 5 1/2ft length.  

Use Front Rail Seal XL to fill an extra large front bulkhead rail gap from .488" to .937" when mounting a truck cap or camper shell. Adheres to the truck's front bulkhead rail. For the cap's side base rails install a high quality Extruded Solutions Truck Cap Seal 20ft (see choices below).

To determine if you need a Front Rail Seal measure the difference in height from the truck's side bed rails (including, if any, bed rail caps) to the truck's front bed rail.

  • If the height of the front rail gap is less than .251" just install a 20ft or 23ft truck cap seal (see choices below) on the cap's front and side base rails. No need for a Front Rail Seal.
  • If the height of the front rail gap is from .251" to .487" install Front Rail Seal 6ft, (ebay item: 321360576249) on the cap or truck front rail and install a 20ft truck cap seal on the cap's side base rails (see choices below).

Extruded Solutions Truck Cap Seal choices:

"Super Cap Seal 23ft"  or "Super Cap Seal 20ft" (Measures 1 1/2" wide and fills all bed rail gaps. Use on truck caps that weigh 200 lbs or less.

"Premium Cap Seal XL 23ft" or "Premium Cap Seal XL 20ft". Measures 2" wide and fills small to medium bed rail gaps. Use on truck caps that weigh 200 lbs or less.

"Super Cap Seal XL 23ft" or "Super Cap Seal XL 20ft". Measures 2 1/8" and is for trucks with extra wide bed rails, fills all bed rail gaps. Use on caps over 200 lbs.

"Ultra Cap Seal 23ft"  or "Ultra Cap Seal 20ft". Measures 1 1/2" wide and fills all bed rail gaps, for caps over 200 lbs.

All truck cap seal kits include seal, butyl tape, alcohol pads and detailed instructions for a professional installation.
